An architectural and interior design project of this large chalet from the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century, revalued the property, modernising it, and making it more fluid and functional for this family’s experience, while maintaining the original and period materials. A classic environment with the combination of different tones, ages, weights, heights and origins of objects and solutions that we can find in each environment. The contemporaneity of the tones chosen for fabrics and rugs, the shapes of the objects placed, along with the modern art present throughout the project, created the counterpoint to the “weight” of the classic architecture structure, and thus the desired balance emerged.
